Today I finally succeeded in locating masking tape (hurray for Office Depot in Israel!). So now the walls of my room have a bit more me in them. I've had that map of Israel since freshman year. I always hung it in my room so I could go through all the cool places I had been to, and also to remind myself of my ultimate goal of living in Israel. Now I am in my new home in Jerusalem, and the map hangs above my bed. I don't think I was sure it was really going to happen until I stepped on that plane. Pretty cool.
Another wall decoration is, of course, photocopies of the Jewbox quoteboards. One day it can be a part of the Jewbox-Israel quote wall. For now it can just make me all nostalgic for the good old days...
